Indirect Uplight · Direct Downlight
Wall Mounted Indirect Lighting
ARC WALL is a wide-profile architectural wall luminaire combining indirect uplight and direct downlight in a distinctive half-round form. Designed exclusively for wall mounting, it is available in 2FT and 4FT lengths for commercial and architectural interiors.

Architectural Wall Lighting
Designed Around the Wall.
ARC WALL is designed as a dedicated wall-mounted luminaire rather than a suspended or ceiling fixture adapted for vertical installation.
Its 7.2-inch-wide half-round body gives the fixture a substantial architectural presence. Indirect light travels upward toward the upper wall and adjacent ceiling area, while direct light illuminates the zone beneath the fixture.
This combination allows the wall, fixture and surrounding surfaces to work together as one lighting composition.
Indirect Uplight
Upward illumination engages the wall and adjacent ceiling zone, creating reflected architectural light above the fixture.
Direct Downlight
Downward illumination adds a second lighting layer beneath the wall-mounted luminaire.
Half-Round Form
A 7.2-inch-wide curved profile gives ARC WALL a stronger architectural presence than a narrow wall-mounted lighting channel.
Indireto Wall Lighting
Light the Surface, Not Just the Space.
Wall mounted indirect lighting uses architectural surfaces as part of the lighting system.
With ARC WALL, upward illumination interacts with the upper wall and nearby ceiling zone. The downward component provides additional direct light below the fixture, creating a layered visual effect around the wall.

Uplight engages the upper wall and adjacent ceiling area.
Downlight adds illumination beneath the wall-mounted fixture.
The wall and surrounding surfaces become part of the overall lighting effect.
Product Configuration
Two Lengths. Selectable Output.
ARC WALL is available in 2FT and 4FT configurations with selectable wattages. Both lengths maintain the same 7.2-inch-wide, 2.36-inch-deep half-round architectural profile.

Specifier's Guide
Wall Mounted Indirect Lighting
Key considerations for architects, lighting designers and commercial project buyers evaluating indirect wall lighting.
What is wall mounted indirect lighting?
Wall mounted indirect lighting directs light toward surrounding architectural surfaces rather than sending all illumination directly into the occupied space. In a wall-mounted application, the upper wall and adjacent ceiling area can become part of the visible lighting effect.
ARC WALL combines this indirect uplight with direct downlight, creating illumination on both sides of the fixture.
What is the difference between direct and indirect wall lighting?
Direct wall lighting sends illumination outward or downward from the fixture toward the area being illuminated. Indirect wall lighting first directs light toward an architectural surface, allowing that surface to contribute to the perceived lighting environment.
A fixture such as ARC WALL combines both approaches: indirect light above and direct light below.
Why does the half-round profile matter?
Fixture geometry affects the visual character of the wall even when the luminaire is switched off. ARC WALL measures 7.2 inches wide and 2.36 inches deep, giving it a more substantial presence than a narrow wall-mounted lighting profile.
The curved housing creates a softer three-dimensional form while visually defining the upper indirect and lower direct lighting zones.
When should 2FT or 4FT be specified?
Fixture length should be selected according to wall dimensions, architectural scale, required output and the intended spacing between luminaires.
ARC WALL-2FT measures 27.64 inches and provides 900–2250 lumens. ARC WALL-4FT measures 49.02 inches and provides 2700–4500 lumens, creating a longer horizontal element with higher available output.
How should wall mounted indirect lights be spaced?
There is no universal spacing distance. Fixture output, mounting position, wall length, ceiling height, surrounding surfaces and the desired visual rhythm all affect the appropriate layout.
In corridors and long circulation spaces, closer spacing can create greater continuity along the wall. Wider spacing makes each luminaire more visually distinct.
What should be considered before specification?
- Coordinate fixture length with wall dimensions and architectural scale.
- Consider how the indirect uplight will interact with the upper wall and ceiling zone.
- Select wattage and lumen output according to project requirements.
- Evaluate mounting position together with the desired upper and lower lighting effect.
- For repeated installations, evaluate the complete wall composition and fixture spacing.

Commercial Applications
Built Into the Architectural Experience.
ARC WALL is intended for projects where vertical surfaces are an important part of the lighting concept and the luminaire should remain a visible architectural element.
Its combination of indirect uplight, direct downlight and a wide curved profile makes it suitable for circulation areas and commercial interiors where both fixture form and surrounding light contribute to the design.
Perguntas Frequentes
Project Questions
What is wall mounted indirect lighting?
Wall mounted indirect lighting directs illumination toward architectural surfaces such as the upper wall and adjacent ceiling area. ARC WALL also includes direct downlight beneath the fixture.
Does ARC WALL provide only indirect light?
No. ARC WALL combines indirect uplight with direct downlight, creating illumination above and below the wall-mounted luminaire.
Can ARC WALL be pendant or ceiling mounted?
No. ARC WALL is designed specifically for wall mounting.
What sizes are available?
ARC WALL is available in 2FT and 4FT versions. Both models use the same 7.2-inch-wide and 2.36-inch-deep half-round profile.
How do I choose between the 2FT and 4FT models?
Consider wall scale, required output and fixture spacing. The 2FT model provides 900–2250 lumens, while the 4FT model provides 2700–4500 lumens.
Where is wall mounted indirect lighting used?
Typical commercial applications include corridors, offices, education spaces, hospitality interiors and public architectural environments where walls form an important part of the lighting design.
