Architectural Cylinder Lighting
A coordinated family of LED cylinder lighting for commercial and architectural projects across the U.S. and Canada. Choose pendant, ceiling surface-mounted or exterior wall-mounted cylinders with multiple diameters, selectable outputs and project-oriented configuration options.

One Architectural Form. Three Ways to Specify It.
Use a consistent cylindrical form across different areas of a project. Suspended cylinders bring the fixture into the architecture, surface-mounted cylinders keep ceilings clean, and exterior up/down cylinders extend the same visual language to façades and building entrances.

Cylinder Pendant Lights
Suspended architectural cylinders for open ceilings, reception areas, retail, hospitality and commercial spaces where the luminaire becomes part of the interior design.

Surface Mount Cylinder Lights
Ceiling-mounted cylinder luminaires for finished ceilings and projects where a recessed housing is not preferred. The exposed cylindrical form creates a clean architectural alternative to conventional downlights.

Exterior Up/Down Cylinder Lights
IP65 wall-mounted cylinders designed for exterior architectural lighting. Select the required upward, downward or combined distribution to coordinate façade illumination with the project design.

Suspended Cylinder Lights for Open Architectural Spaces
Cylinder pendant lights combine focused illumination with a visible architectural form. They work especially well where ceiling height, open structure or interior composition calls for the light source to be positioned below the ceiling plane.
The 3-inch, 4-inch and 6-inch family gives designers and project teams a consistent visual language while allowing output and scale to change from one area to another.

3" Cylinder Pendant
Compact scale for refined architectural layouts.

4" Cylinder Pendant
Versatile size for general commercial applications.

6" Cylinder Pendant
Larger architectural scale with higher available output.

Architectural Cylinder Lighting Without a Recessed Housing
Surface mount cylinder lights bring the optical system below the ceiling while keeping installation visually simple. They are a practical architectural solution for finished ceilings, concrete ceilings and spaces where recessed installation is not part of the project design.
Pendant and surface-mounted versions can be coordinated within the same project, helping designers maintain a consistent fixture language across areas with different ceiling conditions.
Choose the Cylinder by Architectural Condition
Start with the mounting condition rather than the wattage. Once the fixture position is established, diameter, output, CCT and beam angle can be selected to match the lighting plan.
Colgante
Best suited to open ceilings, taller spaces and interiors where suspended luminaires contribute to the architectural composition.
Ceiling Surface
A clean solution for finished or solid ceilings where recessed installation is unnecessary or unavailable.
Exterior Wall
Designed for façades, entrances and exterior architectural walls where controlled vertical illumination is required.
45° or 60° Beam Angle?
Beam angle affects how concentrated or broad the illuminated area appears. The appropriate choice depends on mounting height, fixture spacing, target surfaces and the lighting effect required by the project.
45° Controlled Beam
A more concentrated distribution for layouts that call for greater visual focus or more controlled illumination. Final fixture spacing should be confirmed through the project lighting plan and photometric data.
60° Wider Beam
A broader distribution for general architectural lighting where wider coverage and softer transitions between illuminated areas are preferred.
Select the Diameter to Match the Space
Cylinder diameter influences both the visual scale of the fixture and the available output range. Prillumen uses a coordinated diameter family so different fixture sizes can be combined within the same architectural project.
Up/Down Cylinder Wall Lights for Exterior Architecture
Extend the cylinder family from interior spaces to the building exterior. The IP65 wall-mounted series is designed for façades, entrances, hospitality exteriors and other architectural wall applications, with selectable upward and downward light distribution.

4" Exterior Cylinder
Compact architectural wall-mounted format.

6" Exterior Cylinder
Balanced scale for commercial exterior applications.

8" Exterior Cylinder
Large-format cylinder for higher-output exterior projects.
One Exterior Cylinder. Three Lighting Effects.
Select upward, downward or combined up/down illumination to coordinate the fixture with the façade design. This gives project teams greater flexibility without changing the visual form of the luminaire.
↑ Up Light
Directs illumination upward to emphasize wall surfaces and architectural elements above the fixture.
↓ Down Light
Directs illumination below the fixture for functional exterior lighting and lower wall emphasis.
↕ Up + Down
Creates a balanced two-direction architectural effect for façades, columns and prominent exterior walls.
Architectural Cylinder Lighting Specifications
Compare the core configuration options before moving into photometric review or project submittals. Indoor pendant and surface-mounted cylinders share a coordinated 3-inch, 4-inch and 6-inch family, while exterior wall cylinders extend the collection to 8-inch diameter.

What Is Architectural Cylinder Lighting?
Architectural cylinder lighting uses cylindrical luminaires as visible elements within the building design rather than concealing the entire fixture above the ceiling. Cylinder fixtures can be suspended, mounted directly to the ceiling or installed on architectural walls depending on the application.
Prillumen's indoor cylinder lighting family includes 3-inch, 4-inch and 6-inch pendant and surface-mounted fixtures. Exterior up/down cylinder luces de pared are available in 4-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch diameters for commercial architectural projects.
